Canadian Show Line - SIW

Introduced in the mid 1940’s in Eastern Canada, the Canadia Show line (SIW) presents a slimer build, significantly less fur, and more docile disposition better suited for an in-door and companion pet life.

Once officially recognised as a breed-offshoot in the 1980's, the SIW's addition to the the Parent Club helped finally push for further distinction between the Norwegian (NWL) Freyr and Vǫrðr sub-lines as well as finally naming the Irish working line (IWL).

Today the SIW accells in conformation, various eventing disciplines, and is a prime candidate for mobility Service Work.

Our SIW dogs are bred specifically for Service Work, thanks in large part due to our partnership with Floden Blå. Due to our climate and general way of life being unsuitable for the typical SIW, Floden Blå, both houses and overseas our breeding program with this line, the dogs making the trip to our grounds only should they show the apitude for the IWERD.
